1/2 kg bhindi
2 green chillies,slit and cut into half
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tbsp til(sesame seeds)roasted and powdered
1 tbsp khopra,powdered
2 tbsps tamarind water
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp dhania(coriander seeds)powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Wash and dry the bhindis. Cut off the tips and stalks. Slit and cut each
into 1 1/2 inch pieces.
Mix til powder,khopra powder,dhania powder,turmeric powder,chilli powder,tamarind
water and salt.ground to paste.
Heat oil in a karahi ,add onion fry till pink and taransperent,add ginger-garlic
Add bhindi and fry well,then add the masala paste,mix well.
Add one cup water,stir and cook till done.
Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve with hot with parathas or rice.
