500 gm mutton
1 cup wheat,coarsely ground,soaked
1tbsp chana dal,soaked for 1 hour
1tbsp moong dal,soaked for 1 hour
1 tbsp masoor dal,soaked for 1 hour
1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 onions,sliced fine and fried crisp
4 tbsp ghee
salt to taste
Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a vessel Add ginger-garlic paste.
Add mutton pieces,turmeric powder.fry then add chilli
powder,dhaniya powder, drained dals and wheat.
Add 6-8 cups of water garam masala and salt to taste.
Cook over low heat till mutton is tender.Mash and mix
well.Add crushed fried onion.
Heat the remaining ghee and pour over haleem.Sprinkle
lemon juice.Serve hot.
