Ingredients:
250 gms white peas
1/2 kg potatoes,boiled
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp corn flour
1 onion,finely chopped
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp jeera powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chilly powder
1/4 turmeric powder
salt to taste
oil as required
For garnish:
coriander leaves,chopped
onion,finely chopped
tamarind chutney
Method:
Soak white peas for about 6 hours.Boil with turmeric powder
till done.Heat 1 tbsp oil Add onion and fry till transparent,add
red chilly powder,salt and saute.Add tomato puree and lime juice.
Add jeera powder and garam masala powder.mix well.cook for one
minute and remove.
Mash boiled potatoes,add salt to taste corn flour and black pepper powder.
To make pattice make small balls of potato mix, slightly
flatten them with your palm.
Heat tawa,put a little oil on it,and fry pattice on both sides.
before serving, take pattice and pour ragda on it.Garnish with
tamarind chutneys ,coriander leaves and chopped onions.
Serve hot.
