Ingredients:
500 gms boneless Chicken
4 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard
1 tbsp juice of lime
4 or 5 green chilies,slit
Piece of ginger,finely chopped
1/2 tsp turmeric
powder
1 onion,sliced
Salt to taste
few curry leaves
Masala (ground to paste):
15 red chillies
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp mustard
1 large onion
2" cinnamon
stick
3 or 4 cloves
Method:
Wash and cut the Chicken into cubes, Heat oil add mustard.
Add sliced onions,chilies and ginger and fry till dry.
Add ground spices with turmeric powder and fry till the oil starts separating. Add curry leaves and chicken,mix well. Saute
for 5 minutes.
Add lime juice and salt and cover and cook on a very low heat for 30 minutes till chicken is tender. Do not add any water.
