Ingredients:
1 lb chicken,cut into pieces
1 onion, chopped
2 medium tomatoes,diced
1 tsp ginger, julienne
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 green chili, finely chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, cut into stripes
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 teaspoons garam masala
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp finely chopped green coriander
Salt to taste
Method:
Boil Chicken in water till half cooked,set aside
Heat oil in a karahi(pan) add onions and fry on a medium heat till the onions are slightly brown.
Add the garlic and ginger and cook for a further 1 or 2 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, salt, chili powder, green chili, ground cumin and turmeric.
Fry for a minute,then add the chicken.Mix well,and cook for few minutes.
Add one cup water,and cook on low flame.
Add garam masala and bell pepper,and remove from flame.
Garnish with coriander.
