Ingredients:
1 kg Chicken ,cut into pieces
2 Onions ,chopped
2 pureed Tomato Roast & Grind
2 Green chillies ,slit
1 cup coconut milk
1 tbsp Curds,beaten
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
3 tbsps Coconut oil
Grind the following
5 Red chillies
1/4 tsp Peppercorns
4 tsps Coriander seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/4 tsp Peppercorns
1" Cinnamon
2 Cardamoms
6 Cloves
1 tsp Aniseed
Method:
Mix 1 tspn salt, 1 tspn turmeric powder and rub on chicken pieces. Keep aside.
In a deep bottom pan heat coconut oil. Add onions, fry golden brown.
Add ground masala, Chillies and tomato puree. Cook for 3-4 minutes stirring
constantly.
Add chicken and remaining salt. Mix well. Add coconut milk and stir.
Close the lid, cook on high for 15 mins. Reduce heat and cook for 7-8 minutes.
Open the lid, add curd,mix well. Remove from heat and serve hot.
