Ingredients:
400 gms small Aloo(potatoes)
100 gm mawa(khova)
2 green chillies
6 kaju(cashewnuts)
6 kishmish(raisins)
1 tbs coriander
salt to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 bay leaves
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 onions
2 tbsp tomato puree
1"ginger piece
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp jeera
1/2 cup fresh curd
1 tbsp fresh cream
2 tbsp desi ghee
Oil for frying
Method:
Peel aloo and pierce with fork,shallow fry till light
golden brown.Grind onions,green chillies,ginger,
coriander to paste.
Heat ghee,add jeera and bay leaves.Then add mawa,
onion paste,saute and add cashewnuts and raisins
Add tomato puree and fry for a while.
Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder and curd fry till
masala leaves the sides.Add salt and fried aloo,mix
well and add 3 cups water,add garam masala powder
cover and cook on low flame till done.pour fresh cream
garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
