In saucepan,stir together caramels and milk over medium heat till melted;set aside.
In mixer bowl,beat eggs;gradually beat in sugar.
Blend in butter,caramel mixture,and vanilla.
Stir together flour,baking powder,and salt;stir into caramel mixture.
Fold in pecans.Pour into greased 9x9x2-inch baking pan.
Bake in 350* oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool;sift powdered sugar over top.
Cut into bars.Makes 18 bars.
